What’s New
A Leaner, More Efficient DarkBeacon
We have significantly reduced resource usage across the app and improved how real-time lighting previews operate.
When DarkBeacon is running in the background, visual rendering will now pause automatically. Once you return to the app, the preview immediately resumes with the latest lighting state, eliminating unnecessary background processing.
Closing the AI chat window now also releases its background resources. Reopening it will restore your conversation history and any ongoing generation progress.
These improvements noticeably reduce memory and CPU usage, particularly during extended lighting preview sessions.
More Accurate Rapid Snap
Rapid Snap now only includes a key in the input competition after it reaches its configured actuation point. This fixes an issue where a key could occasionally register before reaching the intended travel distance.
We have also added an optional Dual Bottom-Out setting. When enabled, two competing keys can register simultaneously if both are fully pressed to the bottom.
Existing Rapid Snap configurations remain fully compatible. Unless Dual Bottom-Out is manually enabled, Rapid Snap will continue using its original single-winner behavior.
